When I go to the gym and sit in their Jacuzzi hot tubs, I notice that often there are not even any towels lying around with cleaning products to wash the machines off when you are done using them. Being in control of my own destiny means I get to control how much spa chemicals we use. While I am sitting in my Jacuzzi spouting off famous quotes from famous notables to my friends and family, I get the knowledge of knowing that we are not in front of the television. We are a real family escaping into the sound of the birds and while the Super Bowl is a million miles away.

Any time you go to a friend's house and use their portable hot tub, I recommend taking a hot steam shower afterwards. I don't care if there is a nice sound system and it looks as though they are using all the proper spa chemicals, dangerous diseases can sometimes sit in the microbial world and come down to haunt you. A lot of people don't know how to maintain a proper ph balance and alkalinity in their portable hot tub because they don't have a normal hot tub that goes through the daily cleansing and know-how. Your portable hot tub is just like a plant and it needs to have an iota of respect.

My interest in spa chemicals began because I grew up in a hot springs. My parents didn't realize that bacteria could be slowly eating away at the walls. If they ate at the walls, imagine what they would do to your insides. So I went out and invested in some natural spa chemicals that have been patented and proven to kill bugs. It was one of the best investments I could have made. No more would I have to use electricity to kill the vermin, from now I could kill them with natural spa chemicals.

My discount hot tub has a strong understructure because it is made of polyethylene. It can support large weight structures, which will be needed for my friends. Part of my hot tub is made out of fiberglass, I would imagine. I have put my hot tub out on the deck which has been a lifelong goal of mine. But now that I'm getting older part of me thinks having a Jacuzzi on the deck is not that smart because I forgot to buy a hot tub cover. Hot tub covers are really important because germs can infect you. I hear that certain hot tub filters ca be a lifesaver if you buy the right one at the right discount. Sometimes I get scared to be in my hot tub alone because I haven't poured the right chemical amount in all the time.

Your hot tub deck must take into affect the corrosion that sometimes occurs from spa chemicals and the iron and zinc oxides that are found in some hot tubs. And let's not forget, the basic chlorine in the water! Chlorine does not only kill bugs, it also kills the nice finish on your redwood deck. The lag screws and washers - 3/8 to ¼ inch - will really help to keep your deck together, even if it faces a storm of bills from the discount hot tub center.

I am curious where I am going to put the hot tub after I rent it from the hot tub rental store. This is a very good question. Hot tubs are like giant African animals - zebras, hippos, elephants - and you have to think about this before you just go slapping a giant elephant on your deck! Some hot tubs only hold 1 or 2 people while some hold between 6 and 10. The hot tub I want holds between 6 and 10, according to the instruction manual. But I'll be trying to set a world record with 20 people.

If you don't get the measurements right on your hot tub deck, then you run the risk of having all that hot water and spa chemicals spilling in your yard. This would be bad for your hot tub deck.
